Mental influence at a distance

Posted by:

Mental influence at a distance consists of an experiment submitted to several scientific studies replicated by several researchers over decades. In this experiment that the reader will have the opportunity to know, it proves the influence that the mind of one person has on the body of another even at a distance of several kilometers.

The importance of this study is enormous given the need to demonstrate in a scientific way to some people who still have doubts regarding the effectiveness of therapies or spiritual and energetic techniques performed remotely such as Multidimensional Therapy, Stellar Multidimensional Healing, Aura Reading Therapy, Stellar Quantum Healing, Theta Healing®, Reconnective Healing®, Magnified Healing® among others.

The type of studies I will present to the reader is the Name of DMILS (acronym of Direct Mental Interactions with Living Systems) and began to be produced as a scientific experiment in a laboratory environment in the mid-1970s as a way to validate the physiological effects in one person caused by the intention of another remotely located.

In this study of ‘direct mental interactions with living systems’, two people are tested – the first we will call “Ana” (subject A) and the second that we will designate “Francis” (subject B). The scientific experiment can be carried out by one or more researchers present. In this type of study, a number of considerations are taken, including:

  • subject A will be the one who will receive the energy or intention of healing
  • subject B will be the one who will focus on the image of subject A and send him an intention
  • the subjects are randomly chosen and do not know each other before the experience so that they cannot exchange any type of information with each other. A sceptic might argue that the people involved would have combined information with each other by what this approach was adopted.
  • the subjects are assigned different roles being one the “therapist” – the one who sends the energy with his intention of healing – and the other, the “patient” – the one who receives this healing energy.
  • the subjects are physically separated so that they cannot exchange any information with each other
  • the patient will be isolated in a solid steel double-walled chamber protected from any electromagnetic signals and against acoustic noise

Therefore, being the patient (subject A) in a camera with the conditions described above will not be able to communicate through infrared, bluetooth, radio signals, Wi-Fi or any other means of communication. Since the camera is also protected from acoustic noise as in modern music recording studios, no one is noise that Ana makes, Francisco (her therapist) will not be able to hear it. In some of these studies, Francisco is separated hundreds or thousands of miles from Ana.

As Dean Radin, PhD in Psychology, researcher and author of several works in the field of Parapsychology as the best sellers Intertwined Minds, The Conscious Universe among others, senior scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in California, USA and associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Sonoma State University, says, this chamber looks somewhat gloomy when viewed from the outside but inside has a more welcoming aspect given that it is decorated with warm and pastel tones and plants. The goal is to create a more humane environment than a kind of steel sheet-coated freezer.

Ana is then asked to sit in a very comfortable chair and relax. Ana is then linked to a system that displays on a monitor the measured changes in the activity of her sweat glands. The goal is to measure the activity of your autonomic nervous system. Then Ana must think of Francisco in order to establish with him a mental connection.

The experience will take place for 30 minutes and, during this time, Ana is unaware of when Francisco will think about her (send her healing intention), which will send her (kind of thoughts and emotion), the period of time during which Francisco will send you francisco’s thoughts or geographical location when he sends her thoughts.

After it has been verified that The conductance of Ana’s skin, is being properly monitored, the door is closed, and Ana is left alone in the chamber. Francisco is then taken to a location where there is a soundproof room. Francisco sits down and begins to observe on a monitor the instructions that the computer gives him, which are selected by a random process. The instructions are only two: excite or calm.

After the computer give the order to Francisco, he must imagine, with his intention, Ana having the emotional reaction that the computer indicated, that is, if the computer indicates to Francisco that it should excite Ana, Francisco should mentalize Ana in a situation of physical or mental effort as climbing a staircase of 100 meters quite steep, take a driving test (mental stress) or see yourself face to face with a 4 meter long snake. If the computer provides Francisco with an indication that it should calm her down, he should imagine it on a beach in the late afternoon, enjoying the sunset, meditating in nature or watching the celestial view of the neons from the top of a very high mountain.

So, on average, Francisco is expected to follow about 20 instructions to calm Ana and so many others to excite her emotionally. In some case studies, Francisco is given the possibility of biofeedback from Ana, that is, Francisco will be able to watch on a monitor, the reaction of Ana observing the skin conductance data in real time. When given this possibility, Francisco will be able to adjust based on this feedback the images in which he is mentalizing Ana, in order to more effectively comply with the instructions that the computer is dictating to him at random.

Whenever Francisco is given an instruction, he is shown a stopwatch so that Francisco can send the mental information to Ana for a fixed period of 20 seconds.

So, in summary, over a period of 30 minutes, the computer will give 20 instructions to excite and 20 calm instructions being that the order of each of these 40 20-second instructions is totally random.

Finally, in order to evaluate the results of this laboratory experiment, the researcher will collect the data and separate them into two sets – the set of periods in which Francisco intended to excite Ana and the set in which he intended to calm her. If it turns out that in the periods when Francisco tried to excite her, there was an increase in skin conductance activity, and in the periods when Francisco tried to calm it down, there was a reduction of that same activity and, if that relationship continues over a large number of test sessions, then we can state that there is in fact a mental influence of one person on another, remotely located, both physically, emotionally and mentally. This gives us the necessary scientific support, in accordance with the various controls that have already been used in the course of those same experiments, namely the total inability of the subjects tested to exchange any kind of information before the experiment, which would naturally invalidate it, in order to claim that long-distance energy cures actually have an effect. Thus, the influence of the psi on an individual’s autonomic nervous system is proven.

There are many variants of DMILS experiments already carried out, all of which have already been replicated and replicable by different groups of researchers, coming from various faculties and institutes in various countries, which attests that mental influence is not specific to a group, a country, a culture but something transversal to all human beings.

Researcher Stefan Schmidt of the Institute of Environmental Medicine and Hospital Epidemiology of the University hospital of Freiburg in Germany conducted a systematic review of all DMILS studies carried out so far and properly documented. I recommend to the interested reader to visit the Research Gate – a social network that currently brings together more than 15 million registered scientists and about 130 million scientific publications whose methodology, interpretation of data, way of controlling the experiences conducted in the context of research and research work of companies, institutes and universities, can be properly consulted, discussed, cited and recommended by peers.

I also recommend to the dear reader, the consultation of the book written by Dr. Dean Radin, Intertwined Minds, in which are exposed several dozen psi experiences.
